What are some of the ways that Genesis makes dance accessible?

Genesis offers subsidies, scholarships, and work-for-tuition opportunities to remove financial barriers to participation. We also offer an outreach program for those experiencing other barriers to dance to support them with rides, snacks, and dance clothing. Currently, our school has over 50 families who benefit from these initiatives, including newcomers, low-income families, and members of other marginalized/under-served communities.

What are some of the ways that Genesis integrates art and faith?

At Genesis we acknowledge that our creative potential and identity as artists comes directly from our Creator - empowering US to create! Throughout the year our program is centered around a theme verse from Scripture that we explore and engage with our students through the creation of Recital choreography inspired by this theme, as well as in weekly discussion/connection times with our students that we call ‘Breathe.’
